Kedebe.B is a worm with backdoor characteristics that ends processes belonging to certain security tools, such as several antivirus programs and firewalls, among others. This leaves the affected computer vulnerable to attacks from other malware.
Kedebe.B also deletes files belonging to some of those security tools.
Additionally, this worm modifies the file HOSTS, so that users are prevented from accessing several web pages, most of them belonging to computer security companies.
Kedebe.B spreads via email in a message with variable characteristics.
Kedebe.B is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
