Delsystem.E is a Trojan that deletes all the files in the Windows system directory and other directories. It also deletes the files IO.SYS and COMMAND.COM, which are in the root directory of the C: drive. The affected computer will experience boot problems.
Delsystem.E does not use any specific means to spread. It can reach computers through the normal means used by viruses: e-mail messages with infected attachments, computer networks, CD-ROMs, Internet downloads, FTP, floppy disks, etc.
Delsystem.E is easy to recognize once it has carried out its actions, as the affected computer will experience boot problems.
