Yipper.C is a Trojan that obtains the e-mail addresses from the Outlook Address Book in the affected computer.
Yipper.C is not a dangerous virus, as its main objective is to steal e-mail addresses.
It is easy to be infected by Yipper.C, as it reaches computers through many different means: e-mail messages with infected attachments, computer networks, CD-ROMs, Internet downloads, FTP, etc.
Yipper.C is difficult to identify, as it reaches computers through many different means and does not displaying any messages or warnings that indicate that it has infected a computer.
However, once it has infected a computer, Yipper.C sends an e-mail that contains the data it has stolen from the affected computer (e-mail addresses). This message has the following characteristics:
The addresses found in the Address Book of the affected user.
