Randon is a dropper type worm that inserts several files in affected computers, many of which are other viruses, which carry out different actions (open ports, run applications, spread the worm, etc).
In order to spread, Randon tries to gain access to the other computers connected to the affected computer through a network or through IRC chat channels.
Randon also connects to a website in order to download a backdoor type Trojan.
An increase in network traffic through ports 445 and 6667 could be an indication of the presence of Randon on a computer.
