Prestige.B is a worm that spreads via e-mail in a message written in Spanish that is easy to identify, because the subject is: Nuevas grietas del PrestiGe nos amenazan! and the sender appears to be: Greenpace .
The effects of Prestige.B are more annoying than damaging, as when it carries out its infection it displays a warning message that asks the user for confirmation to install a Plug-In (program update) in order to view photos of the cracks found in the Prestige oil tanker.
Prestige.B is easy to recognize before it affects the computer, as it comes in an e-mail message written in Spanish with the following characteristics:

- Message: the message is blank.
This file, compressed in ZIP format, contains the executable file PRESTIGE.EXE.
When the attached file is decompressed and run, Prestige.B displays a window which informs the user that a program update (plug-in) must be installed to view the photos of the Prestige oil tanker.
If the user clicks on the No button, no other windows related to the virus will be displayed. However, if the users clicks on Yes, another error message is displayed:
