Orifice2K.sfx is a backdoor type Trojan, which allows hackers to remotely control all the resources of the affected computer: run commands, send and receive files, handle the Windows Registry, delete programs or directories, etc.
This Trojan can be installed and run in Windows Me/98/95 computers only.
Orifice2K.sfx has three modules:
BOSERVE.EXE: This is the server program, which is installed in the attacked computer.
BOCLIENT.EXE: This is the client program, which is installed in the attacking computer.
BOCONFIG.EXE: This is the server configuration program.
Orifice2K.sfx is difficult to recognize, as it does not show any messages or warnings that indicate the user that it has reached the computer.
