MonaRona.A is a Trojan which downloads the Application/Unigray in the computer. It is a Potentially Unwanted Program, also known as PUP, which detects unexisting malware in the affected computer and entices users into purchasing a certain program to eliminate these threats.
Additionally, it prevent the users from working properly with the computer, as it ends the applications that contain certain text strings in their window title, such as several Office applications.
MonaRona.A does not spread automatically by its own means. It needs an attacking user's intervention in order to reach the affected computer.
MonaRona.A is easy to recognize, as when it is run, it displays the following message:>
In this message, the creator of the Trojan warns the user of its presence in the computer and of the actions that will carry out in the system. Likewise, it makes a reference to the defense of the Human Rights.
