Goga.A is a macro virus that incorporates a Trojan.
The virus reaches computers in a file with a RTF extension.
Once the RTF file is opened with the Word program, the Trojan component of the virus activates, causing the following effects:
- It obtains passwords from the computer under attack.
- It sends out the passwords using an Internet Explorer session opened in the background.
Goga.A does not show any visible symptoms of infection that indicates it has arrived to the system.
