Moaphie.A is a worm that prevents several programs from being run, mostly related to computer security.
Additionally, it disables the following functions, among others:
- Run of the Start menu.
- the context menu, that is, the menu that is accessed when right-clicking the mouse.
- the Task Manager.
- the Windows Registry Editor.
Moaphie.A spreads via the system drives available and the instant messaging program MSN Messenger, though it only affects the English version.
Moaphie.A is easy to recognize once it has affected the computer, as when the computer is started, the following error message is displayed several times:>>
