Renova.B is a worm that prevents users from running programs and files that belong to several security tools, such as antivirus programs and firewalls, among others.
Additionally, it disables several system tools such as the Windows Registry Editor and several options such as the command Find of the Startup menu, and it modifies the Internet Start Page.
Renova.B spreads via email and through the peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing program KaZaA.
Renova.B is easy to recognize, as it displays the following symptoms:
