Barisada.D is a macro virus that does not have any destructive effects on the infected computer. Its only aim is to spread, infecting Excel workbooks.
Barisada.D runs when an infected workbook is closed or when passing from an open (and infected) Excel workbook to another. Then, it infects all the Excel workbooks used on the affected computer.
It is easy to become infected by Barisada.D, as it reaches in an infected Excel workbook through the usual means used by viruses: e-mail messages, computer networks, CD-ROMs, Internet downloads, FTP, floppy disks, etc.
An indication that Barisada.D has infected a computer is the title of an Excel workbook is Microsoft Excel – KHM.XLS instead of Microsoft Excel – Workbook 1.
