Saros.C is a worm that ends processes belonging to several security tools, such as antivirus programs and firewalls, among others.
Aditionally, it prevents users from accessing certain web pages, mostly belonging to antivirus companies.
Saros.C spreads using the following means:
- Peer-to-peer file sharing programs (P2P).
- The chat program mIRC.
- Computer networks.
Saros.C is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
