Brief Description 

    

Gator is an adware type program, which offers the application at the only cost of viewing a series of advertisements.

Gator downloads and displays advertisements.

In addition, Gator connects to web pages that contain the phrase gator.com through the port 80. It does this in order to make it difficult to block this information delivery.

Some Gator versions replace the viewed advertising banners in the accessed web pages with others of its own.
