Happy is not a virus; it is a hoax or an e-mail message designed to trick the recipient into thinking that a virus will be sent on December 31 in an e-mail message with the subject Happy New Year....

Happy tries to gain the user’s trust by citing CNN as the original source of the information and claims that it is not a hoax, which is totally untrue.

Its aim is to cause alarm and get users to forward the message.

In order to avoid problems, disregard this information, as it is completely false. You should also immediately delete the message, without forwarding to anyone.
