Description: This project aims to provide access to information and culture to children and advanced adults with a visual impairment (blindness or low vision). It will provide basic IT tools through a proposal aimed at children, by creating a remote access platform and training for the elderly.
Social impact: 40 children, 20 advanced adults and 300 people with a visual impairment or professionals that work in the area in Uruguay are expected to benefit from the courses. An unspecific number of people will benefit from the rest of the actions. |

Description: The aim of the project is to create a training center in Madurai, India, to teach women and children in low to middle income families about new information technologies. It aims to train young women and children, so that they can be incorporated in the labor market in local organizations or even set up new businesses and computer centers.
Social impact: Around 900 children and young women will benefit from the project. |

Description: The aim of the project is to set up an educational community telecenter for children and teenagers that live on the streets in situations that put their lives and the lives of others at risk.
Social impact: 330 children and teenagers from 7 to 15 who live on the streets, and have drug-related problems, anti-social habits and no income will benefit from this project. |

Project name: Inter-agency cooperation to help identify the victims of child pornography.
Geographical scope: Europe. This project involves all the European Save the Children organizations (Brussels, Denmark, Norway, Italy, Iceland, Sweden, Holland and Finland).
Description: The aim of this project is to promote the identification and care of children that are used in child pornography photographs and videos. This project calls for a coordinated effort from social agents, public administration and police forces throughout Europe. To do this, it proposes to organize an international event to look for cooperation, develop a report that will act as a tool for increasing awareness and create a group of experts in this field. Social impact: An unspecific number of children will benefit. |
