Brief Description | |
Verona is a worm that arrives in an e-mail message including the following attachments: MYROMEO.EXE and MYJULIET.CHM. It is easy to get infected with this worm, as it activates automatically upon viewing the e-mail through Outlook's Preview pane. Verona is considered not a dangerous virus, as its only objective is to spread to other computers, without causing any damage. Verona spreads extremely rapidly, by sending itself out to all the contacts found in the Address Book. |

The main indication that you have received Verona is an e-mail message with the files MYROMEO.EXE and MYJULIET.CHM. In order to obtain more information about the characteristics of the e-mail message, consult the Means of transmission section. After activating, Verona shows the following visible symptoms: - It displays the text Romeo&Juliet in the Windows Taskbar.
