Tsunami is a hoax that tries to get well-meaning users to forward the message to as many people as possible. The e-mail message deals with the tsunamis ocurred in South Asia in December 2004, and which caused a humanitarian disaster. Tsunami appeals to the emotions of the recipient. It even dares saying that something good will happen if the message is forwarded at least 13 times, and threatens with bad luck if it is not. The objective of the mail is to get well-meaning users to send the message to as many people as possible. Nevertheless, you should ignore the information included in the message and delete it without sending it to anyone else. Note: some scams and phishing schemes have appeared, which attempt to gain fraudulent financial benefits by taking advantage of people's feelings about this disaster. Please, be careful with the e-mail messages you receive about this matter, and make sure they come from a legitimate and trustworthy source. |
