What are the installation requirements of Panda Full Encryption?

Windows Requirements

Full Encryption supports Windows computers that run these operating systems:

  • Microsoft Windows 7 (Ultimate, Enterprise)
  • Microsoft Windows 8/8.1 (Pro, Enterprise)
  • Microsoft Windows 10 (Pro, Enterprise, Education)
  • Microsoft Windows 11 (Pro, Enterprise, Education)
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 and higher (includes Server Core editions)

Full Encryption supports Windows computers that have these hardware requirements:

  • Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 and higher (if used to authenticate)
  • USB key and a computer that can read USB drives from the BIOS (Windows 7)

macOS Requirements

Full Encryption supports Mac computers that run these operating systems:

  • macOS 10.15 Catalina
  • macOS 11.0 Big Sur
  • macOS 12 Monterey
  • macOS 13 Ventura
  • macOS 14 Sonoma

Supported Storage Devices

Full Encryption supports these internal storage devices:

  • Fixed storage drives on a computer (system and data)
  • Used storage space on virtual hard drives (VHD) (Windows computers only)
  • Removable hard drives (Windows computers only)
  • USB drives (Windows computers only)

Full Encryption does not support these storage devices:

  • Dynamic hard drives
  • Small partitions
  • Other external storage devices

When You Uninstall the Panda Endpoint Agent

If you uninstall the Panda Endpoint Agent from an encrypted drive, the drive remains in its current state, but you lose centralized access to recovery keys. However, if you reinstall the agent to the drive, the reinstallation provides access to the most recent recovery key.
