When installing Panda Cloud Office Protection, error 1298 is displayed.
General failure of integration.
- Log into the Panda Cloud Office Protection console.
- Go to Preferences and check to see if the PC in question is blacklisted.
- If so, select it and delete the computer.
- Retry the installation
Should problem persists, please report the incident to the to the Panda Security Support address.
Data needed to report the incident
Send the following data to Panda Security for analysis:
WalTest log at detail level (once the error occurs again) and all messages sent and received between the server and the process, once the error has taken place.
To get these files, follow the steps below:
Find the WalTest.ini file in %Programfiles%\Panda Security\WaAgent\WalTest.
Edit the file by adding the following lines:
Restart the Panda Endpoint Administration Agent service.
The log file generated is WALTEST.log.
The outbound messages between the server and the process are named Waltest_out_XXXXXXXX.msg.
The inbound messages between the server and the process are named Waltest_in_XXXXXXXX.msg.
This data is stored in the folder %Programfiles%\Panda Security\WaAgent\Waltest\
To reproduce the error. Once you have written in WalTest.ini, follow this step:
Open the Task Manager.
Stop the WAPWInst.exe proccess.
Access to %Programfiles%\Panda Security\WaAgent\WAPWInst.
Double click WAPWInst.exe.
Wait to get the error.
When the error is reproduced, collect the required data and send it to the Panda Security Support address.
