Brief Description 

    

Autorooter is a Trojan that uses the DCOM-RPC exploit to take control of the affected computer, allowing a hacker to perform actions such as: reformatting the hard disk drive, modifying the hosted web pages, adding new users, etc.

The DCOM-RPC exploit only affects Windows XP/2000 Pro/NT computers, which can use the service RPC (Remote Procedure Call). Any computers using this service should be immediately protected by installing the patch supplied by Microsoft.
