If exploited successfully, MS05-006 allows hackers to remotely execute arbitrary code in the affected computer with the same privileges as the logged on user. It may also be possible for an attacker to exploit the vulnerability to modify Web browser caches and intermediate proxy server caches and to put spoofed content in those caches.
This vulnerability is exploited by creating a malicious e-mail message and sending it to a user of a server that is running an affected program, and then enticing the user to click a link in the e-mail message.
