Dabber.A is a worm that spreads to computers already affected by any variant of the worm Sasser, such as Sasser.A and Sasser.B, among others.
Dabber.A installs a backdoor that allows remote access to the affected computer. This allows hackers to carry out actions that compromise user confidentiality and impede the tasks carried out in the computer.
It also acts as a TFTP server, through which Dabber.A can download files to the affected computer.
In addition, Dabber.A attempts to delete the entries created by other worms in the Windows Registry.
Dabber.A is dificult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
