Ptakks.XP.C is a backdoor type Trojan, which allows hackers to remotely access the affected computer in order to impede the user’s work and access confidential information.
The most important actions carried out by Ptakks.XP.C are the following: it opens and closes the CD-ROM tray, blocks the keyboard and deletes or modifies files.
This Trojan consists of two programs:

Clear indications that Ptakks.XP.C has infected a computer are: the mouse buttons switch functions, the CD-ROM tray opens and closes by itself and that the keyboard is blocked.
