Brief Description 

    

Antihost.A is a worm whose main objective is to spread and affect as many computers as possible. In order to do so, it makes copies of itself in the physical and removable drives that are available.

Additionally, it uses a Windows API in order to hide the copies of itself and make its detection more difficult.

Visible Symptoms 

    

Antihost.A is easy to recognize, as when it is run, it opens the C: drive of the operating system through the Windows Explorer.

Additionally, if the CD/DVD drive is empty, the following message is displayed:
