Brief Description 

    

DreamSocks.A is a bot, which is a program that allows a system to be controlled remotely without either the knowledge or consent of the user.

It allows the following actions to be carried out:

  • Launch DdoS attacks:
    - HTTP
    - UDP flood
  • Run files in the affected computer, which can be of any nature, including malware.

DreamSocks.A can reach the computer by means of kits for installing malware using exploits, such as Mpack.
