KurtAgent.A is a password stealer type Trojan that logs the keystrokes typed by the user in order to obtain sensitive information such as passwords. It also obtains other type of information: accessed URLs, email accounts, characteristics of the computer, etc.
In order to do so, KurtAgent.A drops the following malware in the affected computer, used to obtain the information mentioned above:
Then, it sends the data it has gathered to a certain email address.
KurtAgent.A does not spread automatically using its own means. It needs an attacking user's intervention in order to reach the affected computer.
KurtAgent.A is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
