Gurong.A has rootkit functionalities, though it does not use them. Those functionalities would allow the worm to hide files, processes and Windows Registry entries.
Gurong.A spreads via email and through the peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing program KaZaA.
Gurong.A is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
