Brief Description 

    

Autorun.IYQ is a worm which carries out many modifications in the Windows Registry, which have the following consequences, among others:

  • It prevents the computer from being started in safe mode.
  • It does not allow to write on the removable devices. Therefore, files cannot be copied to the device.
  • It prevents many files from being run, which belong to different security programs.
  • It disables several services, which are part of the Windows Security Center.

Autorun.IYQ spreads through shared, mapped and removable drives, making copies of itself in them.
