Symptoms
The user configures the browser to use Panda Cloud Internet Protection as an FTP proxy but the requested transaction fails.
Solution
Panda Cloud Internet Protection does not support native FTP protocol. This means that if you configure your browser to use PCIP as an FTP proxy, the requested transaction will fail.
On the other hand, PCIP supports inspection of FTP over HTTP - FTP transactions made from within your browser.
This feature is not enabled by default, so you can proceed as follows to enable it:
- Go to Administration > Internet Gateways & SSL
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and enable FTP over HTTP option.
