Symptoms
The scheduled scans of Panda Cloud Antivirus scans are not carried out when the PC is hibernated.
Solution
Follow the instructions below.
- If you have Windows XP:
- Go to C:\Windows\Tasks.
- In the Advanced options menu, check the Show hidden tasks option.
- Double click the Panda scheduled task (See Note).
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Check the box Wake the computer to run this task.
- Click OK.
- If you have Windows Vista or later:
- Go to Start, Run, type taskschd.msc and hit OK.
- Select Task Scheduler Library on the left panel.
- Double click the Panda scheduled task (See Note).
- Go to the Conditions tab.
- Check the Wake the computer to run this task box.
- Click OK.
NOTE: Panda scheduled tasks are named in by five groups of alphanumeric characters between curly brackets as in this example: {DB63B2B2-6CF1-4CFD-BED2-05D35ADA53A1}
