Updates in Panda GateDefender eSeries are configured from the graphical user interface (GUI) and the network administrator can schedule them to run automatically every hour, day, week or month.
Steps to run updates
- From the GUI, go to System > Updates tab.
- Click Check for Updates! button for the appliance to start checking for new updates.
- When the process finnishes, the system reports if the are new updates to be installed or if your appliance is up to date.
If your appliance finds upgradable packages, click Start Update Process NOW! to start the automatic download and installation of the updates.
- At the end of the process the message Your Panda GateDefender Appliance Firewall is up to date! is displayed.
