The Update manager of Panda Dome lets you schedule tasks to look for vulnerabilities in the software installed on your computer. Additionally, with the Update manager you will be able to create system restore points.
Scheduled searches- From the main window of your Panda Dome, click the Update Manager section.
- To schedule a search, click the Add scheduled search button.
Enable this feature to create system restore points before installing the updates downloaded.
Follow the steps below:
- From the main window of the product, click the Update Manager section.
- Click the Settings menu.
- Select the option to create restore points.
Update location
Select the directory to save downloaded updates to.
Generate advanced log file
Enter the path to the directory in which the update installation log files will be saved. This can be very useful if you ever need a technician to access these log files in order to resolve an incident related to update installation.
