Business Development Representative (Inside)

Location: Burlington (Massachusetts)

ABOUT PANDA SECURITY:

Panda Security is a multinational company specialized in endpoint security solutions. Initially focused on the development of antivirus software, Panda Security has since expanded its product portfolio to advanced cyber-security services based on Adaptive Defense, an innovative EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) security model capable of detecting, analyzing and classifying malware attacks in real-time while providing full visibility and control over the execution of applications in corporate environments.

YOUR ROLE:

The Business Development Representative is responsible for lead generation within an assigned territory. This is a hunter role and requires strong phone sales experience.

GOALS and OBJECTIVES:

  • Complete a minimum of 80 calls per day
  • Set up 1 product meeting/demo per day
  • Drive new business demand
  • Schedule product demos with Sales Engineers
  • Exceed monthly KPIs

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acquire new customer business within an assigned territory through researching, prospecting, qualifying sales opportunities
  • Develop relationships with key decision makers
  • Maintain accurate prospect, customer and pipeline records within SalesForce.com
  • Work in with sales engineers to position security software portfolio

KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hunter role sales experience a must
  • Previous BDR experience (software a plus)
  • Security technology experience is a major plus
  • Good use of CRM system SalesForce.com
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Able to demonstrate consistent ability to meet objectives
  • Proven capacity to excel in a fast-paced, multifaceted, team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and problem solving abilities
  • Capacity to think “outside the box” and motivate others to take well-reasoned risks
  • Able to work well independently and in a team environment, and interact with individuals at all levels in the organization
  • Highly motivated and self-starter
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation & communication skills are required
  • Able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Education: BA/BS, or equivalent work experience
