You can configure Panda Cloud Email Protection so that all users on your domain have the service enabled.
There are different ways of creating accounts for users of your domains in our service:
- Manually: user accounts can be created one by one.
- Through a list of all users belonging to your domain.
- Automatically through SMTP: This method creates accounts corresponding to the domain users as emails are received corresponding to those users. When the first email for a user is received, our service consults the SMTP server to see whether this user exists or not. If the SMTP confirms that it exists, the account is created. If the answer is no, the account is not created.
Important: Given the way that this method operates, it is essential that the SMTP server of the domain is configured to respond correctly to the inquiry so that the service knows whether or not to create the account (recipient call-out).
- Registration by LDAP: This is similar to the SMTP method, but the inquiry is made against the LDAP directory.
Accounts that are not created in our service, whether manually or using one of the automatic methods, will not receive email. Similarly, email addressed to users that do not exist in the service, will be rejected.
