WatchGuard Customers - How do I activate a license for a Panda product from the WatchGuard website?

Panda License Activation

You activate Panda licenses in the WatchGuard Support Center. The first time you activate a license for a Panda product, you must link your Panda account and your WatchGuard account. If you do not have a Panda account, you create one as part of the activation process.

To activate a license, follow the steps in these sections:

• Activate your first Panda license
• Activate additional Panda licenses

1. Go to watchguard.com/activate.
2. Type or paste your license key.
   
   
3. Click Continue.
   
   If this is the first Panda license you have activated, you must create a Panda account or connect an existing Panda account with your WatchGuard account.
   
   
4. Do one of the following:
   • If you do not have a Panda account:
     • Click I need a Panda account. A Panda account is created for you. We recommend that you save your account ID. You need this ID if you contact Support.
       
       
     • Click Submit.
     • Click Continue.
       The WatchGuard Support Center opens.
       
       
       
   • If you have a Panda account:
     • Click Link my Panda account. You are redirected to a Panda login page.
     • Type your Panda account user name and password.
       
       IMPORTANT! You must enter your Panda cool user account details, the first set of credentials you created and activated from the Panda welcome email you received after buying the product. If you cannot find it or have questions, open a case through the Support web form.
     • Click Log in.
       Your Panda account is linked to your WatchGuard account.
       
       
       
     • Click Continue.
       The WatchGuard Support Center opens.
5. Click Continue. You might need to type or paste your license key again.
   The Activate a Product wizard opens.
   
   
   
6. Click Next.
   
   
7. Click Next.
8. Type a name to help you identify your license on the WatchGuard website.
   
   
9. Click Next.
10. Select the I Accept the End-User License Agreement check box.
    
    
11. Click Next.
    The Activation Complete page appears.
    
    
    
12. Click Manage Your Panda Product.
13. To accept the End User License Agreement the first time you connect to Panda Cloud, click Accept and continue.
    
    

It can take up to 48 hours for your license to become active. Until your license is activated, you will see an error message that says: You don't have access to any Panda Security service.

When your license is activated, you will receive an email to let you know.

Activate a New License for a Panda Product You Already Have
When you activate a license for a Panda product that you already have a license for, you have several options for how to use your license. In the activation process, you can:

• Add endpoints to the license
• Extend the expiration of the license

1. Go to watchguard.com/activate.
2. Click through the wizard. When you see the Add Users or Extend Your License page, you can choose from two options:
   • To add endpoints to your license, select Add Users. The endpoint licenses are added to your current license count. For example, if you have 100 endpoints and you purchase 50 more, your final endpoint count after you activate your license key is 150 endpoints.
   • To extend the expiration date for your license, select Extend License. When you choose to extend your license, your license count updates to match the number of endpoints on the license you purchased and a new expiration date is calculated based on your updated endpoint count and the term length of the license you activated.
     
     
3. Complete the wizard.
