I cannot enable the Panda Cloud Antivirus Wi-Fi Monitor feature with Windows XP

Symptoms

The Panda Cloud Antivirus Wi-Fi Monitor feature cannot be enabled from the antivirus interface.

Cause

The Wi-Fi Monitor depends on Windows XP's Wireless Zero Configuration service. When this service is not running, the Wi-Fi Monitor cannot be enabled. This can happen when a 3rd party software is managing the wireless connections instead of the Operating System one.

Solution

Follow the instructions below:

1. Click the Windows Start icon, Run, type services.msc in the text box and click OK.
2. Locate the Wireless Zero Configuration service, double-click on it and press the Start button to start it.
3. Open Panda Cloud Antivirus, click the Wi-Fi Monitor panel.
   
   
   
4. Move the switch to ON.
