Filter Schema
When any user sends an e-mail to the domain mail account of a client of the service, the sender's mail server verifies the domain address, accesses the DNS logs and finds that the filter system address appears for this domain. The filtering system processes the e-mails and sends to the client server those e-mails which comply with the established requirements, keeping in quarantine any which contain viruses, spam or contents that fail to observe the mail use policy established by the client.
Outbound mail from the client's server is sent to the filter system, and once it has been verified as clean, it is sent to the recipients' servers.
Mail can be modified to include notes (such as an indication that the mail has been filtered and that it is spam) or messages can be issued to warn of abnormal situations: for example, warning the domain administrator of the detection of a virus.
Mail stored in quarantine can be reviewed, released or deleted by those users that the client gives the corresponding permissions (administrators or users).
