Error 0001:0006 when trying to activate Panda 2013 products

Error 0001:0006 when trying to activate Panda 2013 products.


To resolve the problem, Panda Security has developed a series of hotfixes. Follow the steps below to apply them:

  1. Download the hotfix for your product.

    Global Protection


    Internet Security
    2013/Ultrabook Protection


    Antivirus Pro


  2. Save the file to your hard disk; to the Windows Desktop, for example.
  3. Reboot the machine in Safe Mode.To do this, on starting up the computer, press function key F8 repeatedly to access the start-up menu. When this menu is displayed, select the Safe Mode option.
  4. Run the downloaded file by double-clicking it.
  5. Finally, reboot your computer for the hotfix to be fully applied and check that the incident is resolved.
