Problems scanning malformed compressed files.

Solution

Panda Security has developed a hotfix to resolve the problems scanning malformed compressed files (TAR and CAB files with malformed headers), reported by Thierry Zoller.

1. Click the following icon to download hotfix hfp140807s29_r1.exe (652 KB).
   
   
   
2. Save the file to your hard disk; to the Windows Desktop, for example. 
3. Run the downloaded file. You can do this by double-clicking the hfp140807s29_r1.exe file to apply the hotfix. 
4. Check that the incident has been resolved.
