Brief Description 


Anti-Virus-1 is an adware program that deceives users warning them of unexisting threats in their computers so that they purchase a certain program that removes them from the computer.

On the other hand, when the users access certain websites which offer antivirus reviews, they are redirected to a website that imitates the original one where a review of a fake antivirus program is displayed, called Antivirus2010, with features and functions similar to Anti-Virus-1.

Anti-Virus-1 can be voluntarily downloaded from the website belonging to the company that has developed it.

Visible Symptoms 


Anti-Virus-1 is easy to recognize as, it shows the following symptoms:

  • When it is run, it warns users that the computer is not protected by displaying several messages.
    Additionally, the main screen it displays is similar to the Windows Security Center's in order to deceive users and make them think it is the legitimate program:
