Brief Description 


MerryX.A is a Trojan that logs the keystrokes typed by the user. This can be used to capture passwords or other kind of sensitive information, thus posing a threat to the user's confidentiality. It obtains information about the affected computer, such as its IP address and access passwords, among others.

Then, it connects to a remote server, to which it sends the gathered information.

It also attempts to download files from different websites. These files can be of any nature, including malware.

MerryX.A reaches the computer via email in a message with the following files as attachments: A_LIGHTSMC10.GIF and MERRY CHRISTMAS!.RAR.
