My Panda Antivirus Pro 2009 license is active but the program informs me that the license has expired and I cannot perform updates

When you renew the Panda Antivirus Pro 2009 services, a message may appear warning you that the license has expired, even though you have correctly completed the renewal process.

Why does the message appear?

This message appears because after renewing the services, the program must contact the Panda server at least once, in order to update the license information.


You can solve the problem by running an update from Panda Antivirus Pro 2009. Follow the steps below:

  1. Open Panda Antivirus Pro 2009. To do this:
    • Click the Windows Start button.
    • Select Programs
    • Click Panda Antivirus Pro 2009.
    • Click Panda Antivirus Pro 2009.
  2. In the main window expand Updates and click Update now....
  3. The update wizard screen will be displayed. Click Next.
  4. At that moment, Panda Antivirus Pro 2009 will begin to update.

When this process is completed, the message warning you that the license had expired will no longer be displayed.

Likewise, from then on, the program will be automatically updated whenever you connect to the Internet, not needing to carry out the steps above.
