The Panda Cloud Cleaner scanner USB drive is a tool that enables you to scan computers infected with advanced malware. Before you follow these instructions, consider this:
You need a computer that boots correctly.
You need a USB drive.
We recommend that you print these instructions.
Go to a computer that boots correctly.
Click Download to download and save the Panda Cloud Cleaner scanner USB drive installer.
Double-click the PandaCloudCleanerUSB.exe file.
Connect a USB drive to the computer. Click Next.
Select the drive that corresponds to the connected USB drive. Click Next.
A dialog box opens that shows information about the installation process.
After the process is complete, a dialog box opens indicating that the USB drive was created successfully.
Click Finish.
Connect the USB drive to the infected computer and restart it.
Most computers will boot automatically from the USB device. It the computer does not boot, you must change its boot order through the PC BIOS.

After the computer restarts, the Panda Cloud Cleaner wizard opens.
Press Enter to accept the terms of the license agreement.
The wizard sets up the computer so that, the next time it restarts, Panda Cloud Cleaner scans and disinfects all viruses it finds.
Remove the USB drive when the wizard shows this message: Please remove the USB drive.
Then, this message appears: Scan can start now!
Press any key to restart the computer.
After the computer restarts, Panda Cloud Cleaner opens. Click Accept and Scan to start scanning the computer for viruses.
Note that, because this is an advanced scanning mode, you will not be able to interact with your computer until the scan is completed.
Advanced viruses typically exploit system or software vulnerabilities. To prevent future infections, take these precautions:
Avoid browsing to unsafe pages. You can browse the Internet safely with a browser sandbox.
Disable Java in your web browser. Refer to how to configure Java and how to disable Java.
Keep your operating system always up to date, for example, by enabling automatic Windows updates.
Never open email messages from unknown senders. They might contain viruses.
