Strategic Account Manager:

Panda Security’s Strategic Account Manager will take ownership of the recruitment and development of all prospective channel partner accounts to identify new business opportunities with the mindset of driving sales growth within an assigned territory.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Bring and/or forge strategic relationships with key personnel in named/prospective partner accounts.
  • Cultivate meaningful & professional relationships with channel partner accounts through direct cold calling, face to face meetings, tradeshows and other demand generation activities as required
  • Evangelize Panda solutions across targeted VARs, MSSPs, and Distributors in your territory and understand their IT Security needs while position Adaptive Defense to fit those needs
  • Secure contracts with VARs, MSSPs, and Distributors.
  • Develop enablement programs and oversee rollout of the training and enablement objectives to onboard newly recruited partners.
  • Continuously seek new business opportunities through strategic objectives and develop those partners to identify and generate new business opportunities within the EDR space.
  • Work alongside with the Channel Account manager to develop and execute sales plan to drive new business.

SKILLS & QUALITIES WE LOOK FOR:

  • Sales “Hunter” with excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Assertive personality and strong drive for success.
  • Self-starter and thrives in a high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrates accountability and a self-motivator.
  • Thorough knowledge of the IT Security market landscape & competitors.
  • Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas (monthly & quarterly),
  • Ability to play well across the organization and be an integral part in a territory team environment, closely working alongside the channel manager, inside sales and sales engineer.
  • 3-5 years channel management experience with the ability to bring connections to build sales opportunities.
  • Ideal candidate is a channel account manager looking to move into an outside strategic account manager role.

REQUIREMENTS WE HAVE:

  • Meet and exceed Quotas, both individual and team goals
  • Ability to collect and accurately report sales pipelines from all potential partners
  • Prior experience selling Security products/SaaS with strong closing capabilities
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 50% of time will require travel to recruit new partners
  • Experience with SalesForce.com
  • Clear understanding of IT landscape (products, partners, companies, etc.)
  • Fostering positive and frequent communication with all partners, channel sales management and stakeholders of the business, both internal and external
