ServUBased.L is a Hacking Tool. Though these programs are legitimate and useful tools when they are appropriately used, a hacker could take advantage of them in order to carry out malicious actions.
ServUBased.L installs an FTP server in the affected computer. This server has the following features:
- ODBC database support.
- Use SSL to encrypt data.
- Restrict directory and file rights.
- Deny or allow IP addresses.
- Monitor FTP user actions in real-time.
- Log all commands from FTP users.
- Remote administration.
- Can be run as a system service.
ServUBased.L does not pose a risk by itself, but it could be used in order to download malware to the affected computers, among others.
ServUBased.L displays on screen a message with the following text:
