pcAudit is a spyware program, which is developed by a private company in order to test the security level in a computer. It simulates the attack by a hacker, and attempts to send data to a server. If pcAudit is successful, it supposedly means that the computer is vulnerable to hacker attacks.
However, it is important to consider which data is sent to the server and the potential threat, as it travels across the Internet on the clear, and the user does not exactly know how it will be used: name of the computer, IP address, files and folders within the My Documents directory, screenshots, keystrokes, e-mail address, etc.
If there is an Internet connection available, the test is always successful, which would mean that the computer is vulnerable.
