Shruggle.1318 is a direct action virus that only infects PE executable files and DLLs (Dynamic Link Library) in Windows 64 bits computers for AMD processors.
In addition, Shruggle.1318 carries out its infection by adding its code at the end of these files.
Shruggle.1318 does not spread automatically using its own means. It needs the attacking user's intervention in order to reach the affected computer. The means of transmission used include, among others, floppy disks, CD-ROMs, e-mail messages with attached files, Internet downloads, FTP, IRC channels, peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing networks, etc.
Shruggle.1318 is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
