Surila.B is a backdoor that affects Windows 2003/XP/2000/NT computers only. It allows remote access to the affected computer, in order to carry out actions that compromise user confidentiality or impede the tasks performed.
Surila.B allows to send spam from the affected computer. Additionally, it prevents the user from accessing the websites belonging to several antivirus companies.
Surila.B is installed on the affected computer by the worm W32/Mydoom.R.worm.
Surila.B is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
