P2E.A is a Trojan that makes the affected computer work as a proxy server, as an intermediary between the attacker's computer and the final web site to which the attacker connects in order to carry out several actions.
These are usually malicious actions, such as sending massive spam, accessing a computer remotely in order to get confidential information, launching denial of service (DoS) attacks, etc.
By doing so, it seem as if the computer affected by P2E.A were the one connecting to the web site, so the attacker's identity is never revealed.
P2E.A is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
