Marker.X is a macro virus whose most damaging effect is to eliminate the files that are stored in the root drive C:, when the date on the system clockis February 22.
In addition, it infects Word files and the global template (NORMAL.DOT file) that this application uses.
Marker.X is a polymorphic virus, as the infections that it carries out vary.
